Last Day at Panther Creek

Will leave tomorrow and head into Virginia. There have been nice trails here to walk on but it has been getting pretty warm midday.

I have not seen nar a bear or bar here, lots of deer, Davey Crockett lived down the road and I think he must of killed all the bear.

Wednesday at Seven Points

Got up, cooked breakfast, we have a bird feeder hung and it has been pretty active, little birds, squirrels, mallards, and this morning a turkey hen and little ones. Have walked around the loop in between wash cycles this morning. The dryers are not very good in the COE parks which is too bad because they are so convenient.

We will visit Jeannette Marzen this morning and see her home improvements, just like on TV then take her somewhere for lunch and anywhere else she might want to go.

Lake Guntersville State Park, Guntersville, Al.

The ride to Lake Guntersville was about 150 miles on route 431 most of the time except for a few cool shortcuts that I would have never taken if I weren't using the computer to plan my route. Some one lane bridges and a few switchbacks, one paved backroad was so narrow that when I saw a car comming towards me I just pulled close to the edge and stopped and she never slowed down, think she had one tire on the asphalt the rest was in the ditch.
This park is large close to 200 sites most with full hookup, could not believe the number of people that are here on Monday.
